At Hakata Port, you can complete the customs confirmation for your tax-free purchases at the tax refund kiosks installed in the terminal.
Please complete the customs confirmation before checking your tax-free purchases in with your shipping company or going through departure procedures. How your refund is paid after the customs confirmation depends on the store and the refund operator.

Cash refunds
There are no cash refund terminals or counters at Hakata Port.
